BPA is a national student organization that serves Business and Information Technology students. Members participate in activities that promote leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills, as well as competing in BPA contests related to their career field at the local, regional, state, and national levels.
Local Darke County MVCTC students placing at the BPA Regional Contest include:
- Josh Denniston (Media and Video Production student from Versailles) placed 5th in the Video Production Team BPA Regional Contest.
- Tyler Diegel (Interactive Multimedia student from Ansonia) won the BPA Pin Design State Contest and placed 6th in the Desktop Publishing BPA Regional Contest. Tyler will attend the State BPA Contest in March to be recognized for his winning Pin Design.
- Jasmine Grillmeier (Marketing & Media student from Franklin Monroe) placed 1st in the Prepared Speech BPA Regional Contest, 1st in the Management/Marketing/Human Resource BPA Regional Contest and has advanced to compete in the State BPA Contest in March.
- Damian Hurley (Marketing & Media student from Franklin Monroe) placed 2nd in the Broadcast News Production Team BPA Regional Contest.
- Shelby Jones (Business Ownership student from Franklin Monroe) placed 4th in the Human Resource Management BPA Regional Contests.
- Ashley Knight (Legal Assistant student from Arcanum-Butler) placed 3rd in the Legal Office Procedures BPA Regional Contest.
- Ericka Miller (Marketing & Media student from Arcanum-Butler) placed 4th in the Management/Marketing/Human Resource BPA Regional Contest.
- Andrew Mitchell (Marketing & Media student from Arcanum-Butler) placed 3rd in the Desktop Publishing BPA Regional Contest.
- Jordan Murphy (Legal Assistant student from Arcanum-Butler) placed 1st in the Parliamentary Procedure, 2nd in the Legal Office Procedures BPA Regional Contests, and has advanced to compete in the State BPA Contest in March.
- Jacob Pepple (Computer Technology Academy student from Arcanum-Butler) placed 3rd in the Computer Network Tech BPA Regional Contest.
- Beth Shoenlenben (Medical Office Management student from Franklin Monroe) placed 6th in the Medical Office Procedures BPA Regional Contest.
- Sierra Woodyard (Medical Office Management student from Ansonia) placed 4th in the Interview Skills BPA Regional Contest.
