Help Build Corynna's Room

Corynna Strawser is a 16-year old resident of Greenville, Ohio. She has been plagued by gastrointestinal issues since birth, but in the past 2 years the symptoms and pain have intensified, making it necessary for multiple surgeries and medical procedures. She has been diagnosed as suffering from Mitrochondrial Disease, which is a metabolic disorder. There is no cure for this illness and it is progressive in nature. She is now confined to a wheelchair and is unable to eat and has to be fed through a TPN line.

After exploring many options, Corynna’s parents have decided to stay where they now live and construct a handicapped accessible addition to their home for Corynna. The Courage for Corynna Committee is now working with Sean and Kristi to build the addition. Financially the family cannot do this on their own. For example Kristi, who is an RN, is not able to work due to the intensive care that must be provided to Corynna around the clock. The Courage for Corynna committee is looking for donations of materials, time, and monetary donations for the project. The Courage for Corynna committee has had several successful fundraisers to help the Strawser family with paying the medical and other expenses necessary to care for Corynna. Please consider giving a donation of time, materials, or money for this worthy cause to help build Corynna’s room. Financial donations can be made to Greenville Federal Savings & Loan, Worch Lumber, or Paypal.
