UPDATED: Greenville Police Make Arrests, File Charges, Related to Burglaries

UPDATED (5/14): Brian Peters was arrested over night and is now in Darke County Jail.

Original Post (5/13): Greenville Police are continuing their investigation into multiple burglaries occurring over the last month.

On May 6, 2013, a suspicious person was called in resulting in the arrest of Ty Howell for Aggravated Burglary after he was caught inside a residence.

On May 9, 2013, Greenville Police Department conducted a consent search at 333 E. Third St. resulting in the recovery of some items believed to have been stolen during some of these burglaries.

On May 10, 2013, officers responded to a suspicious person call in the 1000-Block of Central resulting in the arrest of Rodney Jett of Springfield, Ohio, for Falsification.

On May 11, 2013, Greenville Police Department responded to and investigated a burglary resulting in charges against Brian S. Peters, DOB 07-22-82. There is an active warrant for Peters’ arrest for this burglary.

The Greenville Police Department urges citizens to remain vigilant and to call in any suspicious persons to the Greenville Police Department at 548-1103.
