LINDA DAVIDSON RETIRES FROM VHCC

L to R: Linda Davidson and Jean Unger.
After working devotedly in the Housekeeping Department at Versailles Health Care Center for over 20 years, Linda Davidson of Versailles, Ohio, has retired. Davidson, 69, joined Versailles Health Care Center in 1992 as a housekeeping aide. She commented that there have been a lot of changes at the care center over her 20 plus years.

When asked about her time at Versailles Health Care Center, Davidson said, “I always enjoyed the one-on-one with residents and enjoyed my work and my fellow co-workers. She and her husband, Jim, have two children, Doug and Bev, along with three grandchildren, Michael, Nadya, and Rosie.

Davidson, who likes to walk, ride her bike, and play golf, said, “I didn’t plan on retiring at the time that I did but had to have back surgery, so had to retire earlier than I planned on doing. I really enjoyed what I was doing and thoroughly enjoyed my time with residents.”

Jean Unger, Director of Housekeeping and Laundry, said “Linda was a great part of our team and we thank her for all her years of dedication to the residents at Versailles Health Care Center. Congratulations Linda!”
