WHIO posted a story today that two J.C. Penney stores in the area will be closing in early April, including the Greenville store. The article says that 55 employees in Greenville will be affected, and that the closure is related to the location under performing.

This took me by surprise, despite the other recent closures in town. With Buffalo Wild Wings looking to open in part of the old Staples building, it seems like the soon to be former location of Penney's could be attractive to another retailer, right? What do you think?
