On November 17,2015 at approximately 3:33 p.m., Greenville Police officers responded to the area of Harrison Avenue near Fair St. on reports of shots being
fired. Upon arrival, the suspect, Charles W. Braumiller, from Phillipsburg, Ohio,
was detained. The victim is Carl E. Smith from Greenville, Ohio.
Charles W. Braumiller has been charged with Felonious Assault and is currently
incarcerated in the Darke County Jail.
